About Me

I was supposed to be a clinical dietitian. When I went to school, I thought I would end up working in a hospital, skilled nursing home, or in food service for the rest of my career. After working in all 3 of those settings for a few years, I realized that’s not what fired me up.

While working as a clinical dietitian, I found enjoyment helping people with their nutrition on the side and loved every second of it. I loved it so much that I was doing it for free until I had the realization that I could make this my full time job. This was why I became a dietitian in the first place.

And to be honest… I sucked at first. At the time, I didn’t know how to coach people. I knew how to help sick patients but coaching generally healthy people who were looking to improve their health and change their lifestyle through nutrition and exercise was tough. We didn’t learn how to do this shit in school.

For the next couple years, I busted my ass and invested in the start of my business. I hired a business mentor, became a certified dietitian nutrition coach and N1 personal trainer, and got my Masters in Sports Nutrition. I also hired my own personal nutrition coach and trainer to help me reach my aesthetic goals because I believe so much in the power of coaching.

I’m grateful for this untraditional path because it’s proof that stepping outside your comfort zone can lead to great things.
